How long do I have to make an exchange or return?

You have 14 calendar days to request an exchange or return from the day you receive it. And a total of 20 calendar days from the day you receive it, to send it to our warehouse.

In case of return of an online order in physical store (except in the corners of El Corte Inglés), the delivery will have to be carried out in 14 calendar days from the day you receive the order at home.

If your order is an in-store pickup or delivery point, the 14 calendar days start counting when we notify you that the order has arrived.

If the return is not requested within 14 days or if it does not reach us within 20 days of receipt of your order, it will be rejected and you will have to pay the shipping costs for us to send it back to you, or send it to your carrier, subject to prior notice and authorization from us.

To approve the return we will check that the product(s) is (are) in perfect condition, in its original box, unused, no signs of use, no odors, unwashed and with their labels.

*Combo garments that are purchased together, such as the bathroom, must be returned together.

*In promotions in which we give away accessories, we will refund the money as long as the accessories are included.

How do I make an exchange?

At the moment, we only accept size exchange requests directly in Spain, excluding the Canary Islands.

Size exchange: access our platform by clicking here and follow the steps (If a garment has been purchased with a sale or promotion price and you want to make an exchange, the initial purchase price will be respected, and vice versa).

Exchange for another garment: access our platform by clicking here and follow the steps. As soon as we receive the returned garment, we will check that it is correct and we will send you the new garment as soon as possible so that you can have it as soon as possible. Remember: If you exchange the garment for another of a lower price, the difference in price will be paid through a gift card to redeem in our store.

The first exchange is free of charge.

How do I make a return?

  1. Include inside the package a note with your order number so we can identify it (The number starts with: #R).
  2. Put the garments back in your THE-ARE box or any other box that ensures that the products are shipped protected and wrap the box in a bag or tightly closed wrapping so that it is protected so that it does not open during transport.
  3. Follow the steps outlined in our returns portal.

- Iberian Peninsula (Spain (not islands)):

  • Request pickup at home or at work - 7,95€.
  • Deliver to a post office with THE-ARE label - 4,75€.
  • Ship the items on your own - The charge is at your expense.
  • Come to our physical stores (NOT our El Corte Inglés outlets) - Free of charge.

- Balearic Islands:

  • Deliver to a post office with THE-ARE label - 5,50€.
  • Ship the items on your own - The charge is on your account.

- European Union:

  • Ship the items on your own: The charge is at your expense.
  • Deliver to a collection point: Access our platform by clicking here and follow the steps.
    • Zone 1: Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland and the Netherlands - from 16,5€.
    • Zone 2: Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and Romania - from 19,0€.

- Canary Islands:

  • Ship the items on your own: The charge is at your expense.

To make a return on your own, you have to send the package from the national post office or from any other transport agency, and send the package by registered mail.

The return has to reach us at our facilities with all customs, duties and any other associated costs paid. Otherwise, we will not be able to receive it. Please send the package with the return to our facilities at the following address.

Do you refund the money?

Yes, after approving the return (items must be in perfect condition), you will receive a confirmation email indicating the amount. And it will be made in the same payment method in which the purchase was made or with a gift card without expiration date. As you have chosen. We only reimburse the cost of the products, never the shipping costs. In the event that we reject your return for items that are not in perfect condition or are out of date, you will receive an email telling you so.

If in a maximum of 14 days, after having received the return confirmation from us, you still do not have the refund in your account, please contact your bank.

Remember that this return and exchange policy is only for orders placed online. Orders purchased in store and/or at El Corte Inglés, have their own policies. Policies are duly indicated in each of the points of sale.

How long does it take for a refund to appear in my bank?

We process returns within a maximum of 5 calendar days from the time we receive them in our warehouse. It usually takes between 5-14 business days for you to receive your refund. It depends on your bank.

What can't I return? Can I return accessories or complements?

Any accessory or complement (jewelry, belts, headbands, scarves, hats, bags, etc.) that appears on the website, even if it is not in the accessories section, and/or any customized or made-to-measure garment cannot be exchanged or returned.

Can I exchange or return an item won in a sweepstakes?
